ACCORDION
This project consists in making an accordion book, working with the fold of the paper and different engraving techniques such as stamping, transfer and monotype.
My concept are the memories. The black and white images are the ones that I did at different times of my life in which no people appear. Those are certain items that caught my eye that day. Then, I added the names of the people who were with me that day, the place where the photographs were taken and their respective dates. Finally I searched the photos of that people, digitally added a red and black duotone, made them slightly more transparent, printed them on translucent paper and made strips to put them in their proper place.
